Eat All you want this xMaS Day without feeling guilty!!!
Christmas/Silly Season is the hardest time of year to stay on track with fitness goals as most people over indulge , feel guilty, bloated, frustrated and out of shape come the New Year .
So to help with this I have researched and devised a simple plan that you can follow which will enable you to over indulge a little without the guilt. This process is called Carb Cycling.
1. Eat lower Carbs before Christmas Day ...
For 3-4 days prior to Christmas focus on eating lots of protein, healthy fats and veggies. The idea is to deplete your glycogen stores before Christmas day so that you can be primed and ready for a high carb day.
2.Workout everyday prior ....
Include a workout every day prior to Christmas Day it doesn't need to be long. If you follow these steps your body will be ready for the Christmas Carb overload .To ensure these steps work two days after Christmas try to make them low carb days by eating left over turkey and veggies skip the yummy goodies.
By following these steps it will enable you to eat what you want Christmas day without the guilt kicking in. Enjoy seconds and thirds and make the most of the favourite desserts or celebrations on Christmas Day without loosing site of your goals.
